At least 10 — more is better
Take representative samples as you walk a full circuit: hold your phone sideways, and shoot damaged and healthy pavement. There's no maximum — a big lot needs more than 10.

If it looks wrong, shoot it
Holes, spreading cracks, puddles that never drain, crumbling edges, faded paint, broken signs, clogged drains. When in doubt, add it — our team sorts everything during review.
Sideways, close, with a landmark
Hold your phone sideways. One photo per trouble spot. Keep a pole, curb, or entrance in the background so the crew can find it — and set your measuring item next to the damage, like this photo.

Main Entrance Photo
Stand back at the street and get the whole entrance in one sideways shot — sign, driveway, and building. This becomes the site's reference photo, and it's reused for later inspections.
